Sarah Anne Clark

Sarah Anne Clark was the sixth daughter and ninth child of James and Jane Clark. She was born eighteen years after her sister Hannah. Sarah was born in Hinchinbrook, Quebec on June 4, 1854. By 1871 she had moved with her parents to South Pontiac, Quebec. On November 11, 1882 she married Hiram C. Seger at Hannah's home in Cheboygan, Michigan.

Together they had nine children in the next thirteen years, though the first one was still born in 1883. Hiram worked at a sawmill as did many of their children.

On April 11, 1940, at the age of 85, Sarah died in Cheboygan. She outlived several of her children.

Note: Seger is sometimes Segur, Seager, Segar, Seiger, etc. I use Seger as the common standard name to avoid confusion.
