Hannah Clark
Hannah was the first born of James and Jane Clark. She was born in Ireland and immigrated to Canada with her parents and next oldest sibling Oliver Stewart Clark.
In the late 1860's she immigrated to Cheboygan, Michigan with three of her brothers. She married a New York born farmer, Frank Brannack, there on April 28, 1873 when she was 35 years old.
In 1880, Hannah and Frank began to take care of their niece Henrietta Little who's father had died three weeks before she was born in Parry Sound, Ontario. Hannah's sister Mary Jane Clark had four older children to look after.
In 1927, Hannah had the experience of celebrating her first ever birthday party.
Frank died in 1914 at the age of 87 while Hannah lived to 1935, just one month short of her 98 birthday. Both are buried in Pine Hill Cemetery in Cheboygan, Michigan.
