Laura Ruddock
Laura was the first born child of Luke and Maggie Ruddock. She was born on March 26, 1874 in Cheboygan, Michigan. She grew up in Cheboygan and East Jordan.
On October 30, 1895 Laura married a house painter by the name of Wilbur H Fuller in East Jordan who had two children from a previous marriage. They had three children in the next 9 years and raised the family in East Jordan. In 1940, Laura was working as a house keeper in a private home and living with her son's family in Traverse City, Michigan. Wilbur died in 1931.
Laura died at Grandvue Hospital in East Jordan at the age of 80 on September 25, 1954 after fighting pneumonia for a week. She outlived most of her family with only one daughter and one sister still alive at the time of her death.
