Donald Clark Harrington


Donald was the first child of Russell and Hazel Harrington. He was born in 1920 in Flint, Michigan.

Donald joined the US Air Force and served six years in World War 2, and two more years in the Korean War. He then worked for many years for Buick Motor Division.

"Don was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Phoenix, Arizona and lifetime member of the Masonic Fellowship Lodge #490 in Flint, Michigan. He was a past member of the Genesee County Radio Club and a lifetime member of the London Bridge ARA." - from the obituary.

Donald married Gloria and had two children - Craig and Blair.

After retiring he moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona where he died on March 20, 2010. He was survived by his wife, two children and two grandchildren - Matthew and Sandra.

Donald Harrington, 89, died March 20, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Flint, Michigan in 1920 to Russell and Hazel Harrington. Don retired from Buick Motor Division in 1974 after 30 years of service and moved to Arizona. He served 6 years in WWII and 2 years in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Air Force. Don was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Phoenix, Arizona and lifetime member of the Masonic Fellowship Lodge #490 in Flint, Michigan. He was a past member of the Genesee County Radio Club and a lifetime member of the London Bridge ARA.Don is survived by his wife Gloria of 64 years and two sons, Craig Harrington of Davison, Michigan, Blair Harrington of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and two grandchildren, Sandra Harrington of Flint, Michigan and Matthew Harrington of Burton, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.There will be no services.
