William A. Bell


William Almun Bell was the middle son of Raymond and Ethel Bell. He was born on February 7, 1924 in Muskegon, Michigan.

He was Marine Engineer, and a Navy veteran from World War 2. William married Melva and had two children - William and Bonnie.

William died on October 20, 1990 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 66. He was buried in Greenoakes Memorial Park in Baton Rouge.

Died 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 1990, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 66, a native of Muskegon, Mich., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Marine Engineer, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 9 a.m. until religious services at noon Monday, conducted by the Rev. Robert Chadbourne. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Melva A. Bell, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Bonnie DiVincenti, Baton Rouge; a son, William F. Bell, Baton Rouge; a sister, Jane Arndt, Midland, Mich.; a brother, John E. Bell, Midland, Mich.; and four grandchildren. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Baton Rouge.
