Joseph A. Gates
Joseph Gates was the third son and forth child of Dr. Joseph and Jenny Gates.
After marrying Charlotte Jacobson on November 2, 1934 they moved to White Pine, Nevada where their daughter Ann Louise was born. Later they moved to Billings, Montana to settle for the rest of their lives.
Joseph was an architect by trade and was involved with the Lion's Club on the budget and finance committee, the Billings Planning committee, and the Easter Seals society. As an architect, he designed the Broadwater shopping center built in 1954.
Joseph died on March 4, 1993 outliving all of his siblings except for his sister Jennie. Charlotte died in 1986.
