Dorothy was born May 15, 1904 in San Bernardino, California. Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was young, and she lived there the rest of her life. She did travel to Michigan at the age of 10 with her mother and grandmother.

On May 9. 1924, Dorothy married an oil salesman by the name of Harry Joseph Keough.

Dorothy and Harry had three daughters, Lorraine, Louise, and Laverna.

On June 19th, 1932, Harry and Dorothy returned to Los Angeles from Ensenada British Columbia on board the Ruth Alexander.

In 1940, Harry was listed as a Police Officer for the LAPD on the census. He died March 16, 1973. Dorothy died 11 years later on March 25, 1984 and is buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
