Ida Maude McGown was the last born child of Thomas and Ida McGown. She was born in Foley Township near Parry Sound on July 16, 1899.

She was less than two years old when her father died.

Ida died on May 23, 1912 from epilepsy at the age of 12. She had been having epileptic episodes for the previous 4-5 years.
