Bruce was born in 1942 to Randolph and Ruby MacPherson. He married Barbara Ager and had three children - Brent, Bernie, Betty Anne.

"Bruce loved the outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping. He loved to garden and supplied those he loved with bountiful treats from his harvests.
