Henry Burke was born in Glenmore, Ireland in 1774.

His first wife Elizabeth Cavanagh died after giving birth to four children. He then married Bridget Haden also from Ireland and had five more children including Mary Burke. They immigrated to Canada between 1838 and 1841 and settled in Eastern Ontario - likely Olden township.

I am the grandson of their youngest daughter, Elsie Jean MacPherson, who married Lloyd "Red" Stanley Lafoy. My name is Gary "Che" Alexander Burke Lafoy. I have found your site by accident today but found it interesting. I have mapped the entire tree mostly out on Ancestry.
