Ida Beach Cook - Obituary

Ida Beach Cook of Cheboygan, residing the last 10 years of her life at the Pinecrest Village Senior Living of Mackinaw City, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 104. She was born August 21, 1912 in Levering, MI. Ida married Ed Cook on June 20, 1936. Ida was a homemaker and a wonderful cook; her family was her life. She was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters and her husband of 51 years. She is survived by her three children; Gary (Houghton Lake), Sylvia McLain (Republic, Wash.) and Bruce and wife Kim (Cheboygan), 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Ida requested cremation and there will be a memorial service held in the spring, which will be noted in the Cheboygan Daily Tribune.
