Deborah Sue (Apger) Potter 55, Bryan, Ohio Cheboygan Daily Tribune (MI) - Tuesday, July 12, 2011 Deborah Sue (Apger) Potter, 55, of Bryan and formerly of Cheboygan died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan.

Deb was born June 20, 1956 in Toledo to the late Robert James and Lorabel (Tolles) Apger. She was a 1974 graduate of Archbold High School. Deb married Burnie (Bob) J. Potter on Aug. 5, 1987 in Sherwood, Ohio, and he survives.

Deb worked in management at several area restaurants. Prior to this, she had worked at Sauder Manufacturing in Archbold, Oh. and had been a cashier at Wal-Mart in Cheboygan. Deb was deeply involved with genealogy and spent a great deal of time researching family lines. She was known as the "Best Cook in the World". She also enjoyed reading, but loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Burnie, Deb is survived by her son Jed M. Apger-Ramos of Bryan; stepdaughter, Norma Beck of Toledo; stepson, William Potter of Bryan; six grandchildren, Parker Fisher, Brooklyn Ramos, Julia Ramos, Chloe Ramos, Michael Vargas and Crystal Vargas; two great-grandchildren, Xander and Jayden; two brothers, Robert J. Apger of Archbold and David S. Apger of Pemberville; three sisters, Teresa Wyse of Archbold, Patricia Gilbert of Lyons, Oh. and Lori Lane of Napoleon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Douglas Apger.

Visitation for Deborah Sue (Apger) Potter will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 2-7 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Holbrook officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m.

Wednesday, July 13 in Pinehill Cemetery, Cheboygan with Rev. Jim Currie officiating.
